The Design Line Hurricane from Thermex is an elegant induction hob with an integrated extractor hood. Its minimalist design makes it a perfect fit for any kitchen. The primary advantage of an integrated extractor hood is the elimination of the need for a traditional hood hanging over the hob, which is particularly beneficial for kitchen island setups.

 

Despite the integrated extraction motor, the hob occupies minimal space in the kitchen cabinet. With a height of only 23 cm, there's ample room for drawers or additional storage beneath the Design Line Hurricane.

 

Intuitive Controls

The hob's control panel is intuitive and straightforward, allowing you to manage both the hob and the extractor hood with the same sliding glass touch control. The controls light up in red when activated, ensuring ease of use.

 

Induction Hob Features

It has four large square zones equipped with a double bridge function, allowing you to combine zones for larger pots and pans. Each cooking zone measures 210x190 mm, and when combined, they form a zone of 210x390 mm, which can be done on both sides if needed.

 

Heat-up Function: Quickly brings the cooking zone to the highest level before returning to the preset temperature.

Keep-warm Function: Maintains the ideal serving temperature without burning the food, letting you focus on other meal preparations.

Recall Function: Quickly restores all settings, such as the bridge function and timer, if the hob is accidentally turned off or interrupted by spills.

Minute Minder: An independent timer that provides an acoustic alarm without turning off the cooking zone.

Cooking Timer: Each of the four zones can be set with a timer from 1 minute to 9 hours and 59 minutes, automatically turning off the hob when the time expires.

Lock Function: Allows you to clean the hob's controls without changing settings or turning off the hob.

Integrated Extractor Hood

The extractor hood, seamlessly integrated in the center of the Design Line Hurricane, features a powerful and compact low-energy motor. It offers up to 600 m³/h at the boost level, efficiently removing cooking odors before they spread. The brushless motor operates at a very low noise level of 44 dB(A) and has an A++ energy efficiency rating, making it eco-friendly and cost-effective.

 

Innovative Filtering System: Achieves over 93% grease filtration efficiency, earning a grease filtration class B rating. The filter design maximizes surface area for efficient airflow and longevity and is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

Water Container: An integrated 0.3-liter water container ensures safety and easy maintenance in case of spills.

Recirculation and Venting Options: Suitable for recirculation with an easy-to-install filter kit or traditional venting out of the house. The recirculation filter kit includes three filters, achieving up to 60% odor reduction.
