The hood has a built-in Plasmex Filter which cleans the air extremely efficiently. 96.5% of the air is cleaned when it is sent through the filter. It is much higher than a traditional carbon filter where the air typically has to pass through 3-4 times before the air is cleaned. In the Thermex Caen model, the air is cleaned of odors and bacteria for the first time. Plasmex filters are also used in air purifiers, so the hood can also be used as an effective air purifier. And with a lifespan of 10 years, you don't have to worry about changing the carbon filter in the hood like in other lamp models. The installation of the Thermex Caen is super simple. Since you don't need an exhaust hose for the hood, there are no limits to where it can be mounted. The hood is hung from the ceiling like a lamp, with a bracket in the ceiling and the hood itself hangs from wires. The hood's filter can be easily removed and washed in the dishwasher. The light in the hood is a low-energy LED light that you will find in the base plate of the hood. The entire plate lights up the hob, and it provides a pleasant, indirect light.

Operation
The Thermex Caen comes with a remote control so that you always have the opportunity to operate the hood. The remote control is supplied with a table stand, which is made of robust steel. You can also choose to remove the remote control itself from the stand and store it in your kitchen drawer. With the hood's remote control, you can switch the light on and off, select the suction power or activate the secondary suction. After cooking is finished, the suction is activated and the hood runs for 15 minutes before it switches off automatically. It helps to ensure a good indoor climate in your kitchen.

Engine
The motor in the Thermex Caen model is powerful and quiet. It has a suction power of as much as 450 m3/h, which is sent through the hood's built-in Plasmex Filter.
