Carbon filter kit for Sirocco and TXDD models. The carbon filter effectively cleans the air by up to 60% per air flow. The installation is simple for anyone. The filter insert in the extractor hood is lifted up from the hob. Then the soft carbon filter mat is mounted at the bottom of the filter insert. The other 2 carbon filters are installed down in the hob. Then you put the filter insert back in place and you are ready to cook.

 

The filter set is a so-called long life filter, as it can be washed and regenerated, unlike traditional carbon filters. The filter is washed in the dishwasher and then placed in the oven for 2 hours at 70 degrees. This cycle can be repeated up to 8 times before the filter needs to be replaced with a new one.

 

What is a charcoal filter/recirculation filter?
