Thermex works continuously with specific measures related to energy use, product information, ventilation solutions and the correct handling of electrical products at the end of their service life.
LED lighting in halls
Thermex has installed LED lighting in the warehouse and production areas in Hjørring.
The transition to LED lighting has reduced the energy consumption used for lighting compared with the previous lighting solution.
Thermex Plasmex® filter
Selected Thermex cooker hoods can be equipped with a Plasmex® filter. The filter makes it possible to recirculate the air back into the kitchen instead of extracting it outside the home.
Recirculation may help reduce heat loss compared with a traditional extraction solution. The actual effect depends on the home, the installation and the usage pattern.
Heat recovery
Several Thermex cooker hoods can be connected to the home’s heat recovery system.
This solution makes it possible to use the heat from the extracted air as part of the home’s ventilation solution. The actual effect depends on the ventilation system, the installation and the usage pattern.
Products with low energy consumption
Many Thermex cooker hoods are equipped with LED lighting and energy-efficient motors.

Return scheme for electrical products
Thermex is registered with the relevant return scheme for electrical and electronic products.
When a Thermex product reaches the end of its service life, it must be delivered to an authorised collection point for correct handling, sorting and material recovery where possible.
