Sirocco II

The Sirocco II from Thermex is an elegant induction hob with an integrated extractor hood. The hob's design is extremely simple, making it suitable for any kitchen. The advantages of an integrated extractor hood are many, but the most obvious one is that you don't need to have a traditional hood hanging over the hob. This is especially relevant if you choose a kitchen solution with a kitchen island.

Despite having an integrated extraction motor in the hob, it doesn't take up much space in the kitchen cabinet. The height of the hob is only 23 cm, which means there is plenty of space for drawers or similar storage under the Sirocco II.
The control panel of the hob is intuitive and straightforward. You control both the hob and the extractor hood with the same sliding glass touch control. The controls on the Sirocco II light up in white when activated.

Induction Hob
The Sirocco II is packed with practical features that make cooking easier. The hob, equipped with 4 large square zones, has a double bridge function, allowing you to make full use of the entire hob when using your extra-large pots and pans. This means that if one cooking zone, measuring 210x190 mm, is too small, you can easily combine 2 zones into one large zone, giving you a massive zone measuring 210x390 mm. And you can choose to do this on both sides if necessary.

The Heat-up function sets the cooking zone to the highest level to quickly bring the pot to the desired temperature. Then, the cooking zone returns to the previous setting.

The Keep-warm function on the hob is another practical feature. When activated, the hob ensures that the cooking zone maintains a temperature to keep the food ready for serving, while also preventing it from burning. This allows you to concentrate on preparing the rest of the meal.

The Recall function comes in handy if you accidentally turn off the hob or if water spills on the on/off button and interrupts the hob. With the recall function, you can easily and quickly restore all settings, such as the bridge function, timer settings on the 4 cooking zones, and more.

The Minute minder on the hob operates independently of the cooking zones and doesn't turn off the cooking zone but provides an acoustic alarm. It can be used for various purposes in the kitchen, such as a timer for the oven.
The Cooking timer on the hob is connected to the 4 cooking zones. Each zone can be assigned a timer from 1 minute to 9 hours and 59 minutes. When the set time expires, the hob automatically turns off, and it beeps. This makes it easy to keep track of all pots and pans while cooking.
Additionally, there's a convenient Lock function on the hob, which can be used if you need to wipe the hob's controls during cooking without accidentally changing settings or turning off the hob.

Integrated Extractor Hood
The extractor hood, fully integrated in the center of the Sirocco hob, is equipped with a powerful and compact low-energy motor. It delivers up to 600 m3/h at the boost level, effectively removing cooking odors before they spread throughout the kitchen. It is so efficient that it meets the requirement of a minimum of 75% dust collection. The motor is a brushless motor, which, in addition to providing efficient extraction, also has a very low noise level, as low as 44 dB(A). Furthermore, the energy consumption is minimal, and the hood is rated A++ for energy efficiency. This is beneficial for both the environment and your electricity bill.

The innovative filtering system of the hood efficiently filters the air from grease particles, achieving a grease filtration efficiency of over 93%, earning it a grease filtration class B rating. The filter is designed innovatively to maximize the filter surface area, ensuring efficient airflow and a long filter lifespan. Additionally, the filter can be washed in a dishwasher, making cleaning a breeze.

If you accidentally spill water into the hood, there's no problem. There is an integrated water container that can be easily emptied if needed. The capacity of the water tank is 0,3 liter.

Table-integrated extractor hoods, like the Sirocco II, are suitable for recirculation. If you purchase the recirculation filter kit, it's easy to install for anyone. The kit consists of 3 filters installed in conjunction with the grease filter. Thermex offers a wide range of different extraction kits that fit any installation type. Of course, you can also choose to vent the air out of the house like a traditional extractor hood.
