The Thermex KF75 Ceramic Carbon Filter Set for Downdraft is an efficient and environmentally friendly filter system designed to optimize your kitchen experience.

 

The filters are mounted directly into the cooker hood by removing the grate and filter basket from the hob. The 2 filter cassettes are then placed in front of the motor intake, making installation simple and quick.

The set consists of 2 ceramic carbon filters made of activated carbon in a unique "honeycomb" structure that provides a significantly larger filter area compared to traditional carbon filters.

The advanced structure ensures an efficient filtration, which improves air quality and creates a more comfortable environment in the kitchen. The filters are much more efficient than conventional charcoal filters, making them ideal for heavy-duty cooking.

 

In general, regeneration is recommended after 80 hours of use and the filters can be regenerated up to 10 times.

For intensive cooking, the filters should be regenerated when odour nuisances occur.

To regenerate the filter:

Wash the filter in the dishwasher.

Dry the filter in the oven at 150°C for 3 hours to reactivate the filter's properties.

 

The filter can be reused for up to 5 years, significantly reducing the CO₂ footprint and making it a sustainable choice.

 

A carbon filter, also known as a recirculation filter, is a component of cooker hoods used to remove odors and particles from cooking fumes. It contains activated carbon, which is able to absorb and neutralize odors and pollutants before recirculating the air back into the kitchen.
