Thermex Selected Downdraft 800 - matte glass is an innovative 80 cm induction hob with an integrated extractor and a matte glass surface, combining efficient ventilation, powerful induction cooking and intuitive control in one elegant solution for the modern kitchen.
The hob is designed in black matte glass with a stylish black steel grid in the centre where the extractor’s effective air intake is located. Beneath the grid is a smart C-shaped grease filter that ensures efficient filtration while also collecting any spilled liquid.
With five separate slider touch controls you have full control: one slider for each cooking zone and a dedicated slider for the extractor.

Design and functionality
Selected Downdraft 800 combines an induction hob and extractor in one integrated solution, providing greater freedom in kitchen planning. The matte glass surface gives a refined and calm appearance while reducing visible fingerprints and reflections. The central black steel grid discreetly hides the extractor intake and contributes to the overall minimalist design.
The compact construction with a height of only 23.7 cm makes the hob suitable for many kitchen installations where space below the worktop is limited.

Functions and operation
The hob features four powerful induction zones with boost function up to 2000 W for fast heating and efficient cooking. The double bridge function allows two zones to be combined, making it possible to use larger cookware such as grill plates or large pans with a combined output of up to 3700 W.
The integrated extractor delivers an airflow of up to 719 m³/h and works together with the hob through automatic control. The extractor can automatically start, stop and adjust the fan speed according to the cooking activity.

Noise level and energy efficiency
The efficient Eco motor with energy class A++ ensures strong performance with low energy consumption. At the same time, the noise level remains at a comfortable 47–68 dB(A), creating a more pleasant kitchen environment during cooking.

Recirculation and flexible installation
Selected Downdraft 800 - matte glass can be installed for recirculation, where the air is cleaned through a carbon filter before being returned to the room. You can choose between a standard carbon filter set with approximately six months lifetime or a ceramic carbon filter set with up to five years lifetime.

Easy cleaning
The matte glass surface is easy to clean and can simply be wiped with standard glass cleaner. The C-shaped grease filter beneath the grid can easily be removed and washed in the dishwasher, making everyday maintenance simple and convenient.
