Thermex Selected Downdraft 800 - matte glass is an innovative 80 cm wide induction hob with integrated cooker hood in an elegant design with a matte glass surface, combining effective extraction, precise control and a stylish look in the kitchen.
The hob is made of black matte glass with a stylish black steel grille in the centre, where the integrated cooker hood's effective air inlet is located. Beneath the grille is a smart C-shaped grease filter that ensures optimal filtration and collects any spilled liquid.
With five separate intuitive glass-touch slider controls, you have full control: one slider for each cooking zone and a separate slider for the cooker hood.

Design and functionality
Selected Downdraft 800 - matte glass combines an induction hob and cooker hood in one elegant solution, giving maximum freedom in kitchen design. The matte glass surface creates an exclusive and calm appearance while reducing visible fingerprints and reflections. The central black steel grille conceals the cooker hood's air inlet and contributes to the clean design.
The compact construction, with a height of only 23.7 cm, makes the hob suitable for many kitchen installations where space below the worktop is limited.

Features and operation
The hob is equipped with four powerful induction zones with a boost function of up to 2000 W, providing rapid heating and efficient cooking. The double bridge function makes it possible to connect zones so larger pots, pans or grill plates can be used with a combined output of up to 3700 W.
The integrated cooker hood provides an airflow of up to 719 m³/h and works together with the hob via automatic control. The cooker hood can switch on, switch off and regulate the speed itself depending on the cooking, ensuring effective extraction without unnecessary noise.

Noise level and energy efficiency
The efficient Eco motor in energy class A++ delivers high performance with low energy consumption. At the same time, the noise level is kept down to only 47–68 dB(A), creating a more pleasant atmosphere in the kitchen, even when cooking at high power.

Recirculation and flexible installation
Selected Downdraft 800 can be installed for recirculation, where the air is cleaned through a carbon filter and returned to the room. You can choose between a standard carbon filter set with a service life of around six months or a ceramic carbon filter set with a service life of up to five years, providing flexibility in both operation and maintenance.

Easy cleaning
The matte glass surface is easy to keep clean and can be wiped with ordinary window cleaner. The C-shaped grease filter under the grille can be removed quickly and washed in the dishwasher, making daily maintenance simple and practical.
