KF80 - carbon filter set

The Thermex KF80 Carbon Filter Set for Downdraft is an efficient and convenient recirculation filter system designed to improve the air quality in your kitchen.

 

The filters are mounted directly into the cooker hood by removing the grate and filter basket from the hob. The 2 filter cassettes are then placed in front of the engine intake, ensuring a simple and quick installation.

 

The set includes 2 recirculation filters made of activated carbon and textile. The filter has a pleated design that provides a significantly larger filter surface compared to traditional carbon filters, increasing efficiency.

 

The pleated filter design ensures a higher performance than standard carbon filters and contributes to a more efficient removal of odours and particles from cooking fumes – ideal for both daily and intensive cooking.

 

Replacement interval depends on cooking frequency:

The filter must be changed after about 180 hours of use.

In general, replacement once  a year is recommended.

For intensive cooking, the filter should be replaced when odours occur.
